OVERVIEW OF CLINIC FORMAT The AlphaWolf Basketball Clinics are designed to teach kids the basic skills of basketball. We have redesigned the format of the clinics for the fall of 2006. Each week the kids will learn a new skill and review the skills learned in prior lessons. Registration for 2007 Fall clinics starts August 6. In weeks one through four, kids spend 35 minutes working on conditioning and skill development. The remaining time is spent teaching the game in a controlled scrimmage. Instructors break down the game while they play. At the end of the 4th week, kids take a written mid-term exam. This allows the instructors to see if the players are learning the game. In week five, kids are placed on permanent teams. Instructors spend 30 minutes teaching new skills. The remaining time is spent playing a game. These games are officiated in a manner similar to a real game. Standings are kept as well. Each week has skill development along with games.

WEDNESDAY WEST MAPLE CLINIC The kids in the 7:30pm clinic were hard working and very fun to be around. Each player gave a unique touch to the clinic that the coaches really enjoyed. The final exam scores are below. Each player was given 5pts for each box out, 3pts for each assist, pick, hustle play and rebound. Turnovers were recorded but no points were issued for them. These bonus points will be reflected in the AlphaWolf Scholarship Point listings. Wednesday Box score is listed down below.
